Whether originating from a midtown Manhattan studio or live from the Javits Convention Center, we are experts in producing satellite media tours in New York City. Our stand-alone Satellite Media Tours consist of high-profile networks and top-market local outlets, and offer a unique opportunity to reach millions of target audiences and consumers around the country in just a few hours without leaving the city.
And with strategic studio partners across the city, we can ensure availability while dedicated project teams provide individualized attention for each of our New York City based SMTs. Financial experts, industry leaders, brand spokespeople, professional athletes, A-list celebrities and many more have all collaborated with Lyons PR on SMTs throughout NYC.
Our NYC Satellite Media Tours can also include a Facebook Live segment, typically conducted once broadcast interviews have wrapped, to further connect with engaged audiences.
A few examples of our recent New York City based Satellite Media Tours:
Satellite Media Tour with New York Yankee Legend Paul O’Neill
Overview: NY Yankee great and 5-Time World Series Champion Paul O’Neill conducted a satellite media tour with outlets nationwide about his once in a lifetime baseball master class and homerun hitting contest (with a twist). The SMT was conducted from a centrally located midtown Manhattan studio.
Thanks to the partnership between Major League Baseball and the SPG loyalty program, SPG members redeemed points for the opportunity to learn baseball tips and bat against the Yankee legend. The master class culminated with the top five batters challenging O’Neill in a homerun hitting contest. But, the famous slugger faced a humorous twist – he used a wiffle ball and bat to even out the contest.
American Hero participates in NYC Satellite Media Tour
Overview: Purple heart recipient, Invictus Games Competitor and true American Hero, Major Ivan Castro, joined us in our Time Square studio for a satellite media tour highlighting a new campaign commemorating our WWI Vets while supporting today’s wounded warriors on the Centennial of the First Major American Battle in World War I.
School Safety Satellite Media Tour on the Anniversary of a National Tragedy
Overview: In-studio from Murray Hill on New York’s east side on the anniversary of the Columbine Tragedy, then student and now a teacher at nearby school shared her story with national and local broadcast outlets around the country during her satellite media tour in New York City.
